Therapeutic Massage

The healing powers of touch have been recognized throughout history. But perhaps at no other time has taking time for one’s self been so vital to physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. An antidote to today’s fast-paced world, the benefits of bodywork continue far beyond the time on the table.

While therapeutic massage has a relaxation component like a spa massage, its advanced bodywork techniques are used for pain and chronic health issues. Alternative forms of bodywork have proven to be beneficial for many health conditions. Bodywork increases your body’s self awareness and strengthens the immune system by reducing stress-related tension which experts believe account for an increase in disease. It can improve circulation of blood and movement of lymph fluids in addition to breaking up scar tissue, and loosening stiff joints and tightness that restricts movement. In addition, it can reduce inflammation, calm muscle fatigue, relieve pain from migraines/headaches, back and neck pain, TMJ and many other conditions.

The Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami has documented many cases pertaining to the benefits of massage and other forms of bodywork. For information on the benefits of massage, please visit:

About Your Session

Debbie spends time listening to the client to truly understand the needs they may have in order to help their body release restricted tissues. The client is then given some time of privacy to unclothe and lay face down beneath a sheet on the massage table. Each session is personalized according to the condition being treated and how the client responds during the session.
